In close proximity to the magnificent Hudson River, Kingston Ulster Airport (20N) is located ~ 60 miles south of Albany, NY and 90 minutes north of New York City, we maintain a 3100-foot long by 60-foot wide asphalt runway (15/33) with a separate parallel asphalt taxiway, fuel depot and multiple hangars and tie down spaces. A comfortable pilot lounge is available which affords a place to relax, watch television, access free Wifi, or just spend time with fellow aviators.
We have been a community airport serving the mid-Hudson valley’s general aviation needs for over 50 years. During this time, light aircraft have flown to and from Kingston-Ulster Airport for business and personal transportation, flight training, law enforcement, national guard training, medical evacuation, and recreational flying.
Since the early 1990s, significant improvements have been made to the airport including a renovated pilot lounge, construction of hangars, improved ramp and tie down areas, environmentally safe fuel storage, obstruction removal, runway reconstruction and lighting ~ projects which will keep the airport safe and operational to better serve Ulster County into the next century!
Fly in and experience all that this area has to offer! The towns of Saugerties, Woodstock, Kingston and Rhinebeck are all within 10 miles of the airport and the ski areas of Hunter, Belleayre and Windham are within an hour’s drive.
